GRUENE RIVER HOTEL & RETREAT, New Braunfels – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were beautifully furnished with a cozy fireplace, a king-size bed, and a spacious bathroom. I loved hanging out with friends and meeting new people in the welcoming atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the outdoor sights added a nice touch to the faux lodge effect. However, I found the price a bit on the higher side compared to similar accommodations.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were uniquely decorated like tepees, spacious, and beautifully designed. The service was top-notch, with super friendly staff who were always accommodating, even meeting special dietary needs. The location couldn't be better, just minutes away from the heart of Gruene and offering a picturesque setting by the Guadeloupe river. The dining experience was truly gourmet, offering a variety of dishes that changed daily and exceeded expectations.

The dining experience was a highlight, with delicious meals that left us skipping lunch and still full until dinner. However, the strict timing for breakfast could be more flexible, but nonetheless, the price was justified for the value we received.

However, the limited dining hours and the evening wine and nachos offering were a bit restrictive. Overall, a fantastic experience worth every penny.
